It is long covers my lower back. Feels great to wear. Not heavy. You can either wear long sleeved t.shirt or a winter blouse under it. I am 5ft 4inchds in height. This is perfect length for me. Let me just say i wouldnt be able to find a nicer vest for myself. I can wear it out casually or when my husband takes me to dinner. I give it a 9 out of 10. Showed my husband it and he said its the nicest he has seen on me. I perspire a lot from pain, and the vest isnt too heavy for me which is great.
